Resident Spotlight: Stevie

A quiet presence with a permanent place to belong.

Stevie is a beautiful blind horse with an incredible story of survival and resilience. He was one of 47 horses rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation in West Deer Township, Pennsylvania. Despite everything he has endured and the challenges of living without sight, Stevie has shown remarkable strength, trust, and a gentle spirit.

Today, Stevie is safe, loved, and receiving the care he deserves. His journey is a powerful reminder that every horse deserves a second chance.

“The horse is a mirror to the soul.”

— Buck Brannaman
